Zakharova sneered at Canadian Foreign Minister's words on Ukraine's defense

The funny thing about US President Donald Trump's joke about the Canadian national anthem is that Ottawa has declared its intention to defend Ukraine's sovereignty. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in Telegram-channel on February 21.

"You know what's actually funny about this joke? The fact that yesterday at the G20 Ministerial Council meeting, Canadian Foreign Minister Joly devoted her entire speech to how her country will defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of... Ukraine," she wrote.

According to her, the Canadian authorities are now being raised to laughter in the eyes of the world, but they pretend that they "can guarantee someone's independence."
