Russian President Vladimir Putin has promoted Black Sea Fleet Commander Sergey Pinchuk to the rank of admiral. The corresponding decree appeared on February 21 on the portal of official publication of legal acts.

It is specified that Putin also awarded the rank of Colonel-General to the head of the national defense control center of the Russian Federation Stanislav Gadzhimagomedov.
