St. Petersburg will improve the railroad bridge over the Okhta River

In St. Petersburg, the authorities of Krasnogvardeysky district plan to buy out the old railroad bridge over the river Okhta. About it on Friday, February 21, reports the press service of the district administration.

According to the TV channel "78", the railroad ceased to be used several years ago. The townspeople offered the authorities to equip the crossing, making there a pedestrian zone and bicycle lanes.

Earlier in February it was reported that in St. Petersburg in the spring of 2025 will begin to build a new drawbridge across the Neva. The facility will be part of the Shirotnaya highway of high-speed traffic (SHMSD).
