Orban predicted a slowdown in Europe's economy due to energy prices

Europe will face high energy prices, which will lead to the destruction of their economy. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said this on February 21.
According to him, peace in Ukraine can have a positive impact on Europe's economy, but he does not expect any solutions from the current leaders of Europe, who cannot implement effective policies in the interests of all countries in the community.
"Here in Hungary, we will continue to lower energy prices, but I see that the West cannot take this path and Europe will continue to face high energy prices, which will slow down and kill the economy," he said.
He also added that Hungary has four big "battles" with Brussels.
"The first is the battle over migration, the second is the battle over the protection of children, the third is the battle over the protection of pensions and the fourth is the battle over reduced utility prices," Orban said.
On February 6, Russian Ambassador to the country Eleonora Mitrofanova told Izvestia that Bulgaria is in a protracted political and economic crisis. She specified that Brussels' restrictions had boomeranged on the Bulgarian economy. The widespread rise in energy and fertilizer prices caused by the EU actions has affected the purchasing power of the population, the diplomat added.
