US President Donald Trump has imposed tough conditions on the European Union (EU), giving three weeks to agree on the terms of Ukraine's "capitulation". This was written on his page in X (former Twitter) MEP from Finland Miku Aaltolu.

"If we do not do this, the United States will leave Europe. Trump is prioritizing Russia's security concerns now and in the future. Let them deal with their own mess. We have three weeks to grow up," the post reads.

At the level of EU governments, the statement and language about "capitulation" are rejected, Gazeta.Ru added.

On February 20, Politico learned of European politicians' fears that the transatlantic alliance may be coming to an end. February 19, Financial Times reported that without Washington's support, the EU countries are unable to conduct any military operation.

NBC also reported that the U.S. may reduce its military presence in Europe due to priorities in the Asia-Pacific region and the situation on the border with Mexico
