There are several types of parades of planets: small, when three planets appear in a straight line on the same side of the Sun, medium, involving four to five planets, and large, involving six or more celestial bodies. There are also full parades of planets, when all eight planets of the solar system are on the same side of the Sun, but this cosmic event is rare - once every 170 years.

The reason for the alignment of the planets lies in the peculiarities of their orbital motion around the star. Since each planet has a different orbital width and speed of motion, from time to time their angular coordinates coincide in such a way that they seem to be lined up in one conventional line. Such a phenomenon does not mean that the planets are really close to each other in space - it is just a visual effect observed from Earth.

Parades of planets do not have a significant effect on Earth, because the gravitational influence of individual celestial bodies is too small to cause serious consequences. In the middle latitudes of Russia, the parade of planets can be seen in the evening of February 28, from 18:30 Moscow time to 21:30 Moscow time.
