The level of trust of Russians in Putin has reached almost 80%

Russian President Vladimir Putin is trusted by almost 80% of Russians. The survey data were published on February 21 on the VTsIOM website.
"Vladimir Putin is trusted by 79.5% of surveyed Russians, and 76.2% approve of his work as President of the Russian Federation," the survey results say.
The work of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and the Russian government over the past week was positively assessed by 52.3% (+1.5 p.p.) and 50.5% (+1.9 p.p.) of respondents, respectively.
The nationwide poll was conducted from February 10 to 16 among 1,600 citizens over the age of 18.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on January 17 that Putin enjoys tremendous support from the population. He also noted the impact of the poll results on the success of the Special Military Operation (SMO). Peskov called it an important factor "for the citizens' enthusiasm."
