Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on February 21 commented on the victory of the national hockey team in the Four Nations Tournament, addressing American President Donald Trump.

The Canadian team defeated the United States 3-2 in the final of the competition.

"You can't take our country away from us - and you can't take our game away from us," Trudeau wrote on his social media page X (formerly Twitter).

American President Donald Trump said on February 2 that Ottawa should join the United States as the 51st state. Trudeau, in turn, commenting on this, expressed the opinion that the US president's threat is real. He later noted that Canada will never become an American state.
