Musk said Ukrainians despise Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy knows that he will be defeated in the upcoming presidential election. This was stated by the American entrepreneur and head of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Ilon Musk on February 20.

"He knows that he will lose with a crushing score, despite the fact that he has seized control of all Ukrainian media," he wrote on his page in the social network X (former Twitter).

According to Musk, the people of Ukraine despise their President, and his high ratings in the national media are not reliable.

Even NATO gave a positive assessment of the leaders' contacts

Earlier, on February 19, US President Donald Trump said on the Truth Social network that Zelensky "did a terrible job", which resulted in the destruction of his country and the deaths of "millions of people" in vain. At the time, Trump also said Ukraine needed to hold elections to earn a seat at the negotiating table.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on February 20 called the Ukrainian president's drop in approval obvious and pointed out that his rhetoric "leaves much to be desired."
