Russian artillerymen fired 90 shells at the AFU in the Kursk region during the day

Russian artillerymen fired 90 shells at Ukrainian formations near the villages of Pogrebki and Malaya Loknya in Kursk Region. This was reported by Izvestia correspondent Emil Timashev on February 21.
"It's already just a machine gun line. Artillerymen are hitting shell after shell, continuing to hit the target - enemy manpower and equipment," he informed from the positions of Russian artillerymen.
According to a serviceman with the call sign Rostov, the artillerymen fire ten warheads at a time, and there are more than 90 in a day.
"We've gotten used to it already. Everything is good, everything is normal. In this shift it's somewhere over 90 already," he commented.
One of the goals of the Russian servicemen is to cut off supplies from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) in the Sujan district.
"The enemy I don't know what they are counting on, their command is counting on what they are counting on. But we will definitely not retreat from here. We will crush them to the end. Snow, mud, rain - we work all the time. We are given targets, and we throw them on. Our business is one," - said a serviceman with the call sign Caspian.
In response, Ukrainian formations are trying to resist Russian servicemen to no avail, losing personnel and equipment.
On the previous day, Russian troops repelled four counterattacks of the AFU in the Kursk direction. During the day the losses of the Ukrainian army amounted to more than 160 servicemen. In addition, two tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles, an armored personnel carrier, ten armored fighting vehicles, eight vehicles, five artillery pieces, four mortars and three unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control points were destroyed.
