The new head of the FBI has called his main task to regain the trust of the citizens

FBI head Cash Patel promised to restore the trust of U.S. citizens by creating a "transparent, accountable" agency that is committed to justice. He said this in an interview with Fox News Digital on February 20.
He also warned those who seek to harm Americans that the bureau will "go after you in every corner of this planet."
"I am honored to be confirmed as the ninth director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation," Patel said.
On the same day, the U.S. Senate approved the nomination of Cash Patel, President Donald Trump's nominee to head the FBI. Fifty-one senators voted in favor of Patel's nomination and 49 voted against.
