Junior Sergeant Eduard Danilov, as part of a motorized rifle battalion, restored a damaged communication line despite drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). On February 21, the Russian Defense Ministry told about the feats of Russian fighters.

The Russian Armed Forces' (AFU) communication lines were damaged by Ukrainian fighters during the fighting. Danilov, realizing the need to maintain communication between the fighters, moved to the place where the wires were broken.

In the meantime, the Ukrainian side continued to actively use drones, but the sergeant managed to reach the site of the break and promptly restored communication, which allowed him to transmit the coordinates of the Ukrainian guns to the artillerymen in time. As a result of several accurate strikes, the enemy lost part of its weapons and was forced to retreat.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the courage and bravery of Lieutenant Artem Tolmachev, who commanded a platoon tasked with assaulting an AFU stronghold. Despite the superior forces of the enemy, Tolmachev made a decision to enter the battle and with the help of machine gun crews restrained the actions of the defending enemy, after which he came as close as possible to the front edge of the AFU defense.

Russian attack drones, repulsing the Ukrainian drones, began to dislodge the enemy forces from their positions, forcing the militants to retreat.

On the eve, the Defense Ministry reported that Efreyant Artur Shevelev controlled a quadrocopter during the assault on a Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold and destroyed an enemy machine gun crew.
