The incidence of pediculosis decreased by 19.1% in 2024 in Krasnoyarsk Krai. This is reported by IA KrasnoyarskMedia with reference to the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.

Parasitic disease was detected in 341 people, including 137 adults. 86.8% of cases were found on the territories of cities. Most often pediculosis was diagnosed in Norilsk, Minusinsk, Sharypovo, Shushensky, Sharypovsky and Severo-Yeniseisky districts.

Rospotrebnadzor reminds that to protect against pediculosis should not use other people's combs, towels and hats.

Earlier it was reported that at the end of 2024, experts have recorded a decrease in mortality from tuberculosis in the Moscow region by 7.1%.
