A mass check of drivers will be carried out in the Amur Region

Traffic police officers will conduct a mass sobriety test of drivers in the Amur Region. The preventive event will be held before Defender of the Fatherland Day.

The checks will be held from February 21 to 23. According to PriamurMedia IA, inspectors will massively check motorists in order to identify violations related to drunk driving.

Since the beginning of 2025, 59 residents of the region have been prosecuted for drunk driving, another 30 people refused medical examination. 32 people were detained for repeated offenses.

Violators face a fine of 45 thousand rubles, as well as deprivation of license for up to two years. In cases of repeated violations, criminal liability is envisaged.
