Ukraine reported a drop in Zelensky's rating to 15.9%

The approval rating of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy among citizens has dropped to 15.9 percent. This was reported in a study by the Ukrainian center for social and marketing research Socis, which was cited by the Ukrainian edition of Strana.ua.
It is specified that this is how many voters would give their votes for Zelensky, if the elections in the country were held right now.
At the same time, Socis found that the level of approval of the Ukrainian president fell for 12 months from a value of 21.7% in February 2024. The period of growth was only in the summer, an increase of only 1%.
At the same time, the highest rating is the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), ambassador to the UK Valeriy Zaluzhny. After his dismissal from the army in early 2024, he disappeared from the public field, and at that time his rating dropped slightly. In the fall, his approval rate returned to growth and stands at 27.2%.
In third place is the former president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko (part of an association listed by Rosfinmonitoring as involved in extremist activity or terrorism) with a rating of 5.8%.
Thus, in the case of holding the election of the head of state now, Zelensky would lose, losing only to Zaluzhny.
Earlier, on February 18, US President Donald Trump said that the Ukrainian President's rating among Ukrainians has fallen to 4%, and Zelensky said that this is disinformation. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting on February 20, called the Ukrainian president's drop in approval obvious and pointed out that his rhetoric "leaves much to be desired."
On the same day, Trump said that Zelensky had "done a terrible job" that had left many people dead and Ukraine destroyed. At the same time, the United States and Russia, as the American leader reminded, are making efforts to resolve the conflict.
