"Spartak" defeated "Torpedo" thanks to Solari's debut goal

Moscow soccer club Spartak won a friendly match against Torpedo Moscow. The meeting, held on February 20 in Belek, Turkey, as part of the winter training camp, ended with a score of 2:1.

The goal that brought the win to Spartak was scored in the 89th minute by 23-year-old Argentine Pablo Solari, who joined the capital's FC only last week. Manfred Ugalde also scored in the 16th minute. The only goal for Torpedo was scored by Alexander Ivankov (86th minute), Sport-Express reports.

Spartak will play two more friendly matches against Uzbek Nasaf on February 23 and 24 this winter.

Earlier, on February 11, Spartak officially announced the signing of Argentine midfielder Pablo Solari. The River Plate striker signed a 4.5-year contract with the club. Solari has played for River Plate since 2022. He took part in 110 matches, scored 30 goals and gave 17 assists.
