Moscow declared "yellow" level of weather danger due to icy conditions


In Moscow and the Moscow region, the "yellow" weather danger level has been declared due to icy conditions. It will be in effect until February 21. The corresponding data appeared on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia on February 20.
According to the information, the warning period is valid in Moscow until 22:00, and in the Moscow region until 21:00 on February 21.
"Yellow" level indicates that the weather is potentially dangerous, unfavorable phenomena such as precipitation, thunderstorms, wind gusts, etc. are possible.
February 19, meteorologist Evgeny Tishkovets said that March in Moscow will be 3-5 degrees warmer than the climatic norm and meteorological spring will occur not as it should, March 21, but 2-3 weeks earlier.
