Secretary of the State Council Alexei Dyumin urged to protect Russian citizens from unreasonable price increases for housing and utilities services. He said this on February 20 at a meeting of the working group of the State Council Commission, where they discussed the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

"It is necessary to focus on improving mechanisms to protect the rights of citizens from unreasonable price increases for utilities" - said Dyumin.

A plan to restore the border areas of the Kursk region is being prepared; specifics will be announced as early as next week. The experience of work in Donbass will be taken into account.

Also at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin proposed to conduct a complete inventory of facilities in the regions and return everything that can be used.

Earlier in the day, Khusnullin said that for the sustainable development of the country in the next 10-20 years it is necessary to put into operation annually at least 100 million square meters of housing. He pointed out that the construction sector continues to develop steadily, and its share in the Russian economy is growing.
