According to the results of 2024, logistics has become one of the highest-paid industries in the context of a noticeable shortage of personnel. This year, the trends have not weakened: in January, median salaries of holders of almost all logistics specialties grew at double-digit rates. Moreover, salary expectations are growing slower than the offered remuneration, according to the results of a study conducted by hh.ru and PEC, which was reviewed by Izvestia on February 21.

In January, the median expected salary in logistics grew by 14% year-on-year to Br80 thousand. At the same time, the median offered salary increased by 20%, up to Br112 thousand.

Salary offers at the beginning of the year exceeded the expectations of holders of six logistics specialties out of nine. Couriers were offered almost 2.5 times more than they expected (the median expected salary of couriers in January was Br60 thousand, Br86 thousand less than the actual one). Drivers were offered one and a half times more (Br44 thousand to the expected Br93 thousand). Machine operators - a third more than the expected Br101 thousand to packers, pickers - 29% more (their expected salaries amounted to Br60 thousand).

Salaries of holders of eight logistics specialties out of nine grew at double-digit rates. The top three in terms of salary growth in January are traditionally couriers and drivers, taking the second and third places, respectively, and second only to logistics managers. The latter were offered a third more than in January last year (+33%, Br135 thousand), couriers - almost a third more (+30% year-on-year, Br146 thousand), drivers - by 28% (Br137 thousand).

Couriers, drivers and logistics managers were also among the top three specialties in terms of offered salary. Electric train and air transport drivers were offered a little less at the beginning of the year (Br134 thousand; +7% year-on-year). Salaries of warehouse managers amounted to Br90.4 thousand (+14% year-on-year), logistics and foreign trade managers - Br86.9 thousand (+15% year-on-year), packers, pickers - Br76.6 thousand (+16% year-on-year), storekeepers - Br70.6 thousand (+16% year-on-year), dispatchers - Br57.9 thousand (+16% year-on-year).

Earlier, January 15, it was reported that every third Russian respondent (28%) planned to change jobs in 2025. This is stated in the results of the study of the Russian School of Management. Among the most frequent reasons for such a decision are low wages (47% of respondents said so), lack of opportunities for professional growth (45%), lack of career prospects (39%).
