NMG CEO re-elected as Chairman of the Public Council under Roskomnadzor

General Director of the National Media Group (NMG) Svetlana Balanova has been re-elected Chairman of the Public Council at Roskomnadzor. This became known on Thursday, February 20.

The priorities of the Public Council Balanova considers the dialog of representatives of public associations and business with the agency in the implementation of government policy in the field of communications, information technology and mass communications to strengthen the balance between digital security, protection of citizens' rights and freedom of information space.

According to the conclusion of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and the RAEX rating agency, according to the results of the rating of public councils under federal authorities in 2024, the Public Council under the RCN is among those that have made maximum progress.

Last November Svetlana Balanova, speaking at the strategic session of the annual National Advertising Forum in Moscow, said that in Russia 94% of viewers positively evaluated the new content ofthe domestic media industry, therefore NMG will increase the production of unique projects.
