For the first time since the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, the United States has not co-sponsored the UN General Assembly's anti-Russian draft resolution on Ukraine. This was reported by Reuters on 20 February, citing three diplomatic sources.

The United States refuses to be a co-sponsor of the UN draft resolution, which condemns Russia's actions and states a commitment to "Ukraine's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders."

"In previous years, the United States has consistently co-sponsored such resolutions," a source told Reuters.

So far, more than 50 countries have co-sponsored the document, but the agency's interlocutors declined to name them. The reason for the initiation of the new resolution was the approaching anniversary of the beginning of the NWO.

As the agency points out, it is not yet clear when the deadline for supporting the draft resolution expires, and Washington can still change its decision. A second diplomatic source, said that at the moment the situation is such that the U.S. will not sign it. Without U.S. approval, the resolution could be put to a vote, but it would be less likely to receive broad support.

On February 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump. According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the two leaders discussed many topics, including the exchange of Russian and US citizens, the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict and the situation in the Middle East.
