Kuzmin called his rival Tetteh a puncher

Russian boxer Sergey Kuzmin called his opponent WBA Africa and WBA Pan Africa champion Ebenezer Tetteh a puncher. He made the corresponding statement on February 20, ahead of "REN TV Fight Club".
"The opponent is, let's say, such a pancher - he has 23 fights, two defeats in total," Kuzmin stated.
The athlete also said that despite the "short notice", he is ready for the fight.
"Such a life, you need to constantly be ready, train, this is our home, we come here and train, spend a lot of time. We invest ourselves, our skills, our ability to properly and skillfully conduct fights in the ring," - said the athlete.
Earlier, on February 15, it became known that Kuzmin will replace the owner of the champion belt WBA Asia Alexei Papin in a fight with Ebenezer Tetteh at the tournament "Fight Club REN TV". According to promoter Vladimir Khryunov, Papin suffered a torn Achilles, so he will not be able to enter the ring.
The fight will take place on February 28 in Yoshkar-Ola. In addition to Kuzmin and Tetteh in the ice palace "Mari El" Yoshkar-Ola on February 28, Igor Sviridchenkov and Roniel Iglesias will step into the ring, and Sergey Sergeyev will fight in a fight against Jorge Manuel Soto.
