Russia and the United States may unfreeze relations in the field of scientific cooperation. Russian presidential aide Andrei Fursenko said this in a conversation with TASS on February 20.

"I think they have never been completely frozen, there have always been some kind of relations. But, of course, it will not be organized exactly as it was before. Something will change a lot for various reasons," he believes.

Earlier, on February 5, Fursenko reported on attempts by unfriendly countries to resume work with Russia in science. He noted that there were attempts to resume contacts. According to Fursenko, there are serious attempts in Germany "to resume past or start new research with Russian participation without noise, quietly".
