A court in Moscow fined YouTube and Telegram 80 thousand rubles.
Tagansky district court of Moscow has brought YouTube LLC and Telegram messenger to administrative responsibility. This is reported on February 20 in the Telegram-channel of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.
It is noted that they are considered guilty of committing an administrative offense under part 5 of article 13.31 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Failure to fulfill the duties of the organizer of the dissemination of information on the Internet").
It is specified that the court fined them Br80 thousand.
Earlier, February 19, Tagansky court fined the provider of VPN-service - the company Hidemy.network Ltd., in connection with the violation of the rules of a foreign agent. It will have to pay Br400 thousand to the state.
