"Izvestia" relaunched its classic format with exclusive excerpts of new bestsellers

"Izvestia has announced the revival of a popular format. The first fragments of new bestsellers will be published on the pages of the newspaper and the Izvestia website. The first material in this format was Susan Collins' new novel based on the "Hunger Games" universe - "Dawn of the Harvest".

"Izvestia" returns to the long-standing tradition - to publish new works by the main writers of our time. On the pages of the newspaper in different years were printed such authors as: Maxim Gorky, Mikhail Sholokhov, Andrei Voznesensky, Yevgeny Yevtushenko, Vasily Shukshin, Valentin Rasputin. In the future the first fragments of the bestsellers will appear on the pages of the newspaper and iz.ru website, and readers will be the first to familiarize themselves with exclusive fragments of the most expected book novelties and evaluate them in advance.

February 20, Izvestia was the first to show an excerpt and cover of Susan Collins' new book on the universe of "The Hunger Games" - "Dawn of the Harvest". The work itself will be released in Russian in March, as in the rest of the world. In Russia, the novel is released by the Neoclassic edition of the AST publishing house in the original cover.

"Dawn of the Harvest" was the fifth book of the "Hunger Games" cycle. This is a prequel to the first novels, where the events take place 24 years before the first book, during the 50th "Hunger Games", the winner of which became Haymitch Ebernethy from District 12. It was he who would later become the mentor of Kitniss and Peeta - the main characters of the trilogy. In the future, the first fragments of the new bestsellers will also appear on the pages of the newspaper and the Izvestia website.
