Relative of the Russian woman who died in Sri Lanka told about the tragedy

A Russian woman who fell out of a moving train in Sri Lanka while trying to take selfies was on a tourist trip with her friends. On the day of the tragedy, she went on an excursion, her relative Yulia said on February 20.

"As you know, they always take pictures like this there. When I looked about this excursion on social media today, I saw that the guides control this moment. Why this happened is unknown," she noted.

According to her, the exact circumstances of the death have yet to be established. The family is in touch with the friends of the deceased, with whom she was vacationing, and representatives of the insurance company.

Earlier on February 20, it was reported that in Sri Lanka, a Russian tourist died trying to take selfies while the train was moving. It is specified that the victim arrived in Sri Lanka from Russia with a group of 12 tourists.
