Russians named real estate attractive for investment

Research: more than 50% of Russians preferred investments in residential real estate

The surveyed Russians told which real estate, in their opinion, is the most attractive for investment in 2025. More than half of the respondents (53.8%) would prefer to invest in residential real estate. 40.4% of respondents voted for commercial real estate, the remaining 5.8% chose industrial real estate. This is stated in the results of the survey of analysts of the resort "Luchi", which were read by "Izvestia" on February 21.

The most attractive strategy for investment Russians named the purchase of real estate for rent: 76.9% of respondents voted for it. This includes both apartments, apartments, apartments, offices and commercial premises, and the purchase of a lot in a hotel as a ready-made business, when the management and rental of rooms is engaged in a professional management company hotelier. Another 19.2% of respondents chose the purchase of real estate at the early stage of construction as an object of short-term investment. The remaining 3.8% of the survey participants chose flipping - purchasing secondary housing with investment in its renovation.

Olga Nart, Commercial Director of Luchi Resort, also noted the potential for investment in the hotel sector. She specified that hotel rooms represent an alternative to the financial market, and added that the capitalization of hotel real estate shows growth.

Earlier, on February 5, it was reported that almost half of the surveyed Russians in one way or another connect their plans in 2025 with the solution of the apartment issue. Thus, every eighth (12%) plans to start saving and saving money for an apartment. At the same time, 7% of respondents are already preparing to move into the purchased housing, and 14% plan to start or complete renovation (14%). This is stated in the research results of Level Group company.
