The International Labor Forum will be hosted by St. Petersburg

The IX International Labor Forum will be held in St. Petersburg from April 2 to 4. The decree on its holding was signed by Governor Alexander Beglov.
The main theme of the event is "Human Capital: Investments in the Future". Its participants will discuss the issues of providing personnel for the new economy, forecasting the demand for human resources and competencies, increasing labor productivity, employment of SWO participants, regulation of labor migration.
A total of 120 events are planned, which will take place in various formats, from plenary sessions to ice games and workshops. The events will be held in three locations: Tavrichesky Palace, Expoforum congress and exhibition center, Mikhailovskaya Dacha campus of SPbSU.
TV channel "78" specifies that about 10 thousand delegates came to the forum in 2024 not only from Russia, but also from the CIS countries, Africa and Southeast Asia. The event was attended by leading specialists and experts in the field of personnel management, HR, civil servants, legislators and representatives of the scientific community.
Earlier it was reported that the 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which took place from June 5 to 8, was attended by over 17 thousand people from 136 countries. Its main theme was "The basis of multipolarity - the formation of new centers of growth".
