Patrushev visited the Gulfood 2025 international exhibition in the UAE

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev visited the Gulfood 2025 international exhibition of food, beverages, hospitality and culinary equipment in Dubai, and, inspecting the exposition, noted that the partnership with the Gulf countries in the field of agro-industrial complex is of strategic nature.

"Our volumes of mutual trade turnover are regularly growing. Last year, the volume of trade turnover in the sphere of agriculture grew by 30%, and already this year it has literally doubled," he said.

Patrushev added that colleagues from the UAE are quite strongly interested in supplies of Russian agricultural products.

In 2025, the exposition of the Gulfood exhibition was presented by 115 domestic companies. Among them are large exporters, as well as small and medium-sized businesses.

Earlier, on February 19, Patrushev said that Russia supplies the UAE with cereals and legumes, meat products, including halal products, which meet all standards. There is great potential in expanding the range of supplies of meat, dairy products and soft drinks.
