The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has recalled the position of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy after French President Emmanuel Macron's words about the "guarantor of peace". She published the corresponding post on February 20 in her Telegram channel.

There, Macron promised that France would take full responsibility for peace and security in Europe and called himself the guarantor of that peace.
