Mummies of a man and a woman were found in an apartment in the Leningrad Region

In the Leningrad region found mummies of a man and a woman after a pipe burst in the apartment of a residential building. This was reported by a source of "Izvestia" on February 20.

According to the interlocutor, a pipe burst in the apartment of a residential building, because of which neighbors tried to reach the owners of housing, but no one opened the door. In the end, they called specialists. Upon arrival, they opened the door and found the bodies of a 54-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman.

It is specified that the bodies were sent to forensic experts to establish the cause of death.

Earlier, on January 13, a resident of Moscow found the mummy of his father, whom he thought was missing, in his own apartment. It was specified that the man did not contact any of his relatives since June 2024. In January 2025, the son came to his father's apartment and found his mummy.
