The editorial staff of Vechernyaya Moskva received awards from the Russian Union of Journalists

On February 19, a ceremony was held to award media employees for their work with the Russian Union of Journalists. Vladimir Solovyov, Chairman of the Union of Journalists of Russia, and Pavel Gusev, Chairman of the Moscow branch of the Union of Journalists of Russia, presented awards to the editorial staff of the newspaper Vechernyaya Moskva.

The business meeting took place at the Central House of Journalists. First of all, journalists who fell under the attack of enemy drones while performing their professional duty were presented for awards.

"A very important part of our work is to recognize the merits of our colleagues and support the families of the victims," notes SZhR Chairman Vladimir Solovyov.

The "VM" employees - deputy editor-in-chief Yanina Portnova and media center director Elena Pleshivtseva - also received the SZHR Certificate of Merit for high professional achievements and personal contribution to the development of journalism. By the way, during the awarding ceremony the professional long-term work of the media center of "Vechernyaya Moskva" was noted by Pavel Gusev, Chairman of the Moscow branch of the Union of Journalists of Russia. Warm congratulatory words were also said by Vladimir Solovyov, Chairman of the Union of Journalists of Russia.

"We have a special relationship with "Vechernaia"," - said Vladimir Soloviev. - Alexander Kupriyanov, editor-in-chief of the newspaper, and "VM" employees regularly take part in our most important events. And I sometimes visit the editorial office of "Vechernyaya Moskva" as well. For example, recently the Chairman of the SZhR visited the editorial office to meet with the "VM" United News Service. Vladimir Solovyov, in an informal atmosphere, over a cup of tea, talked to correspondents and editors, gave professional advice, and shared his personal experience.
