On February 22 and 23, the final screenings of the play "Sobornaya Ploshchad" will take place at the Moscow Film Park "Moskino". This project gave young actors the opportunity to debut on the same stage as famous artists. Each production involves eight children aged eight to 14 years old. About it on February 20 reported the portal mos.ru.

At the center of the plot is a girl Matrona, who goes to the Time of Troubles to get acquainted with key historical figures and events. The main role is played by 11-year-old Maria Kancher, and her assistants are 12-year-old Evdokia Sushchinskaya, 10-year-old Nikita Strugachev, 14-year-old Klim Krivonosenko and other young actors. All of them study at the children's theater center "Premiere" and work on a par with professional artists.

"Playing in this play is one pleasure: the script is taught and perceived very easily. To perform on the same stage with artists of such greatness as Dmitry Pevtsov, Elena Zakharova, Valery Nikolaev is a great honor for me. I believe that the play "Sobornaya Ploshchad" is suitable for viewers of any age. This is our history, and it is necessary to know it. The play teaches that we need to stick together. Only if we stick together, we will overcome everything," said Evdokia Sushchinskaya.

The play combines historical events and fairy tale elements. With the help of a magic handkerchief Matrona travels through time and becomes Matrona, acquiring the Kazan icon of the Mother of God, with which Patriarch Hermogenes blesses the Russian army.

Maria Kancher noted that working in "Cathedral Square" was a special experience for her.

"This production is a must-see for everyone to be proud of their country, to defend it, to sacrifice for it. Our people believed in a miracle and that's why they won. Evil always loses - this is what the play is about," the actress said.

On different days, the play features theater and film stars, including Dmitry Pevtsov, Elena Zakharova, Valery Nikolaev, Ekaterina Guseva, Leonid Yakubovich, Anna Bolshova, Olga Kabo and other artists.

"Such beautiful costumes, huge sets. I have never participated in something like this before. Together with this performance I remembered historical facts, learned a lot of new things. I recommended it to all my friends and classmates, and many have already gone. They liked it very much," shared actor Klim Krivonosenko.

The production lasts one hour and is designed for viewers from six years old.

Moschino Film Park is part of the Moscow film cluster, which includes 18 sites, pavilions and sets of different historical eras. This project, implemented within the framework of Sergei Sobyanin's project "Moscow - the City of Cinema", offers ample opportunities for film production.

Earlier, on December 26, 2024, the creators of the multimedia performance "Cathedral Square" shared the secrets of creating a successful project. Choreographer-director Nikita Moshkov and project manager Maria Kublanova told how the production was created.
