Ukraine assessed the probability of Starlink shutdown in the AFU

US entrepreneur and founder of Starlink Ilon Musk may disconnect satellite terminals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at any moment. This was stated by the founder of the AFU's aerial reconnaissance support center Maria Berlinskaya on 19 February.
According to her, after the statements of US President Donald Trump and Musk, it became clear that America can take measures to "bend" Ukraine.
"In their place, the first thing that can be done is to start blackmailing the most important thing on the line of contact - means of communication," she said in her Telegram channel.
According to Berlinskaya, Starlink, which has no complete alternative, can simply cease to exist for Ukrainians at any moment.
"Just a 'technical failure' for a few days or weeks. If you don't have a plan B - chaos will start, we will lose a lot of people," she said.
On February 19, Trump said that Ukraine needs to hold elections to earn a place at the negotiating table. In addition, the US President said that Kiev could not account for where it spent the funds transferred by Washington. The US president said that he was concerned about this issue.
