Ukrainian native convicted of preparing a terrorist attack at a Defense Ministry facility in Khakassia

A native of Ukraine, who received Russian citizenship in 2022, was sentenced to six years for preparation of a terrorist act at the facility of the Russian Defense Ministry in the Republic of Khakassia. This was reported by the regional department of the FSB on February 20.

It is specified that the native of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, acting on the instructions of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), intended to carry out a terrorist act at the facilities of the Russian Ministry of Defense in Khakassia.

"At the place of residence of the criminal found and seized means of committing terror, internal and foreign passports of a citizen of Ukraine in the name of the figure, documents of a colonel of one of the special services of Ukraine on his own data, a large number of magnetic media", - informed in the Department.

The man was found guilty by the 2nd Eastern District Military Court under part 3 of article 30, part. 1 Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Preparation of a terrorist act") and imposed two years in prison and four - in a strict regime colony.

January 21, a student of the college in Barnaul wasdetained in an attempt to commit a terroristact on behalf of the Ukrainian terrorist organization. The student was detained by FSB officers in Altai Krai near the military enlistment office, preventing him from carrying out his plan.
