Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces showed their well-established army life in the zone of the Strategic Air Defense Treaty

Servicemen in the special operation zone eat in special underground canteens, where they can also rest. This was reported by Izvestiya correspondent Dmitriy Astrakhan on February 20.

It is specified that the food unit in such canteens is designed for 150 people. In addition, the entire diet of the Russian army fighters has become much more extensive than three years ago.

"The norm (caloric. - Ed.) we still have the same as it was before the SWO. But a lot of additions have been introduced: mayonnaise, jams, mustard, horseradish, raw smoked and semi-smoked sausages. If before we had canned meat in the field, now we have fresh beef meat, fish cooked in the fields, oil and eggs," commented Major Roman Karpelyansky, head of the 114th Brigade's food service.

In addition to canteens, bread shops are being organized for soldiers along the entire line of contact, and in the rear areas so-called underground towns are being built where they can bathe, wash their clothes and rest.

At the same time, each building of the "washing and laundry point" for the personnel is erected at a depth of up to 4 meters to protect the fighters from the strikes of long-range NATO guns and drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

"Here we have washing machines, a Russian bath, a swimming pool. All this is at a depth of 3 meters, everything is camouflaged. We have secured ourselves as much as possible," said the commander of the material support company of the 132nd separate motorized rifle brigade, a senior lieutenant with the call sign Eternal.

On February 18, servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces told about "hoarding points" in the frontline zone. The "hoarding point" has stocks of VKPO 2.0 uniform sets, shoes, sleeping bags and much more. There is also a small fitting room in the warehouse, where those who have left the front line can be changed before rotation or new tasks.
