US President Donald Trump told about the expenditures of the previous administration, which amounted to hundreds of millions of dollars. He said this on February 19 at an investment forum in Miami.
"$2 million for sex change operations in Guatemala, $20 million for "Sesame Street" for Iraq. I know how it's done: you spend $50,000 on a film crew, give them a couple bucks on top, and that's it. Not $20 million," the American leader said.
Trump also noted that $100 million was allocated for condoms for the radical Palestinian movement Hamas.
In addition, the President of the United States noted that large amounts of funds went to "incomprehensible devilry", the purpose of which is not known.
Earlier, on February 8, American entrepreneur and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Ilon Musk said that the Treasury Department of the country annually pays benefits worth $100 billion to unidentified persons.
