Luxembourg says no plans to send peacekeepers to Ukraine

"Luxembourg, whose 34 military personnel are currently deployed as part of EU and NATO missions in Lithuania and Romania, is not considering the possible participation of its troops in a hypothetical peacekeeping force in Ukraine," the newspaper reported, citing the country's defense ministry.
It specified that Luxembourg would instead focus "primarily" on supporting Ukraine with military equipment.
"How peace can be secured in the long term <...> should be determined in possible future peace talks between Russia, Ukraine and their Euro-Atlantic partners," LW concludes.
On 18 February, State Duma deputy Aleksey Chepa said that the appearance of peacekeepers in Ukraine could be discussed, but the contingent should consist only of representatives of countries that took a neutral position in the conflict. He admitted that he allowed that it could be Hungary or India.
