A pensioner was taken to intensive care after a pipe burst in Nevsky district of St. Petersburg. This is reported on February 19 by TV channel "78" in its Telegram channel.

It is noted that the incident occurred in the morning in the house on Iskrovsky Avenue. There was a 75-year-old woman, who received 23% skin damage.

The victim was taken to the intensive care unit in serious condition, doctors diagnosed thermal burns of II degree of feet, buttocks and hands.

The causes and details of the incident are being investigated.

Earlier, on February 14, in St. Petersburg, one person was injured when a hot water pipe burst near the metro station "Primorskaya" in Vasileostrovsky district. It is reported that there was damage to the hot water supply (HWS) on the roadway with an area of 300 square meters.
