Doctor of nutrition, gastroenterologist Alexandra Razarenova told who should not consume bread.

"There are special conditions in which bread will fall into the category of restrictions, for example, in such a serious disease as celiac disease. In this situation, a person has no ability to digest gluten at all," the expert warned in a conversation with Radio 1.

According to the gastroenterologist, people with irritable bowel syndrome, diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tract (GIT) in the period of exacerbation are also not recommended to eat bread.

Speaking of reducing body weight, it is important not only the quality, but also the quantity of the flour product eaten, noted the nutritionist.

"Bread can be incorporated into the diet, even for those people who seek to change the composition of the body. The question of its quantity, the question of its quality. It is necessary to eat no more than one to three servings of bread a day, it is about 30-40 g", - concluded Razarenova.
