Sergeant Artur Shevelev destroyed an AFU unit with the help of a quadrocopter

Lieutenant Artur Shevelev controlled a quadrocopter and destroyed an enemy machine gun crew during an assault on a Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) stronghold. On Thursday, February 20, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces (AFU) in the zone of the special military operation (SMO).
An assault group of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) was tasked to storm and clear an AFU stronghold. Shevelev, flying a quadrocopter, dropped ammunition on the accumulation of enemy manpower and struck a machine gun crew, ensuring the further advance of the Russian attackers, as a result of which the stronghold was taken.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the courage and professionalism of Junior Lieutenant Roman Kartavtsev, who commanded a tank platoon during the liberation of one of the settlements where a camouflaged AFU stronghold was discovered. Russian servicemen engaged the enemy.
During the assault, Kartavtsev eliminated two AFU firing points where machine gun and grenade launcher crews were stationed. In addition, Kartavtsev destroyed some enemy personnel and partially destroyed fortifications. This allowed Russian attack aircraft to penetrate the stronghold, which as a result helped liberate the settlement.
Earlier, on February 19, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that sailor Anton Artemyev was serving at an observation post and noticed the movement of an armored vehicle and a pickup truck of the AFU. Russian mortars immediately opened fire on the enemy.
