Investigative Committee opened a case after a schoolboy was wounded by a sharp object in Kuban

The Investigative Department for Temryuksky District of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia's Krasnodar Territory has opened a criminal case after an incident with injury of a schoolchild with a "sharp object" at a school. This was reported on February 19 by the press service of the IC in Telegram-channel.

"According to preliminary data, on February 18, 2025 in one of the schools located in the city of Temryuk, one of the underage students caused bodily injury to another schoolboy with a sharp object, which he brought to the educational institution," - said in the agency.

After the injury, the injured schoolboy was taken to the hospital, where he was given the necessary assistance. There is no threat to his life.

"At present, the criminal case is carrying out the necessary investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident", - also said in the publication.

It is specified that the head of the Investigative Committee of the Krasnodar region A.K. Maslov put the progress of the investigation on control in the investigative Department.
