T-Bank CEO speaks out on training barriers

Quality education requires high costs to ensure the best technological base of the university and decent remuneration of teachers, so it can and should cost a lot, T-Bank CEO Stanislav Bliznyuk said.
At the same time, free education, he said, is often devalued and taken for granted, which makes the education system lose. Applicants, Bliznyuk continued, should be interested in enrollment in strong universities and make efforts to do so. Grants will help to cover the costs of paid education, and a favorable educational loan with state support will help to reduce the financial burden, said the head of T-Bank.
He added that in order to train qualified personnel, employers should be more actively involved in the training process, it is necessary to work with young people, to organize Olympiads, hackathons and other educational events. In addition, it is important to raise the prestige of the teaching profession.
"You and I are the product of teachers' work. We all, both companies and individuals, should raise the prestige of the teacher. And to send young, intelligent, star employees to nurture new professionals as practitioners," Bliznyuk said, speaking at the session "Personnel Decide Everything: Where to Look for Cybersecurity Specialists?" within the framework of the Urals Forum.
He also emphasized that T-Bank's educational initiatives, including the creation of the Central University, are aimed at training "valuable personnel" not only for itself, but also for its partners and the entire country.
