Waltz said to expect Macron and Starmer to visit the U.S. next week

TheUnited States expects French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to visit next week to discuss the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported by the American President's National Security Advisor Michael Waltz in an interview with Fox News on Wednesday, February 19.

"We are engaging with all sides [on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict]," Reuters quoted him as saying.

Waltz specified that seven American officials spoke with European allies in Munich before organizing this meeting. According to him, the next step will be the formation of technical groups to discuss the settlement in more detail.

On Tuesday, February 18, the Russian and American delegations held talks at one of the royal family palaces in Riyadh. US President Donald Trump called the talks a success. Russian leader Vladimir Putin also praised the outcome of the US-Russian ties and said that Moscow was ready to return to the negotiating table on the Ukrainian conflict.
