Public criticism of US leader Donald Trump by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will "turn against him". Such a statement was made on February 19 by US Vice President JD Vance.

"The idea that Zelensky is going to change the president's mind by vilifying him in the public space - anyone who knows the president will tell you that's a terrible way to treat this administration," he told the Daily Mail.

According to Vance, the head of the Kiev regime was "given bad advice" on how to deal with the current US administration.

Earlier, Trump said that Zelensky's leadership has destroyed Ukraine. According to him, the Ukrainian President should not have started a conflict with Russia at all, which is impossible to win. The US President added that Zelensky was only good at forcing former US leader Joe Biden "to dance to his tune".

Before that, Zelensky said that Kiev would not accept any results of the negotiations between Russia and the United States. According to him, this is impossible without the participation of representatives of Ukraine and the European Union in meetings on the topic of conflict resolution.

In turn, the US President said that Ukraine needs to hold elections to earn a place at the negotiating table. In addition, Trump said that he was concerned about where Kiev had spent the funds transferred by Washington.
