The cases of non-admission of Russians to flights of the Irish airline Ryanair to Estonia are nothing more than self-rule, no laws have been adopted in this regard. This was reported to "Izvestia" in the Russian Embassy in Tallinn on February 19.

Earlier in social networks there was information that a citizen of the Russian Federation was denied registration on the flight Dublin - Tallinn, referring to the allegedly new law prohibiting Russians to fly to Estonia for the purpose of further crossing the border with Russia, regardless of the presence of a visa or residence permit.

"The embassy has no information about the adoption of such a law, the current restrictions do not provide for obstacles to transit to Russia," the statement said.

Nevertheless, the Russian diplomatic mission receives appeals from citizens on the issue of not allowing them on Ryanair flights from European capitals. At the same time, other airlines operating flights to the Estonian capital (AirBaltic, FinnAir, Eurowings) confirmed to the embassy that they have not received any orders from the local authorities in this regard.

"We proceed from the fact that the management of Ryanair is engaged in self-rule, introducing bans on the basis of nationality," the embassy emphasized.

Also in the diplomatic mission urged Russians to refrain from buying tickets from this airline.

Earlier, January 21, it was reported that Russian tourists could not fly to Moscow from Havana, Cuba. Then what was happening was not explained either in the airline or at the airport, and only 12 hours later all travelers were redirected, presumably, to one of the local hotels. The flight was operated the next day.
