A fire broke out at an oil depot in Odessa on February 19, the Ukrainian news and analysis website Strana.ua has reported.

Eyewitnesses published photos and videos in social networks, which showed a column of thick black smoke rising above the city.

The causes of the fire are unknown. No explosions were recorded, the air alert was announced only in the morning, adds "Gazeta.Ru".

Earlier, on February 16, it was reported about damage to a critical infrastructure facility in the south of Ukraine in Nikolaev.
