Court to prioritize claims of ex-Google employees

The court decided to satisfy the claims of former employees of Google LLC as a priority. This was reported to "Vedomosti" on February 19 by Artur Zurabyan, a partner of the law firm ART DE LEX, who participated in the session.
Last year, on October 24, Valery Talyarovsky, the company's competition manager, asked the Moscow Arbitration Court to allow the claims of former employees to be satisfied on a priority basis. At the same time, the current legislation allows to satisfy the interests of employees only after creditors.
"Google LLC is subject to fines, which are enforceable at the expense of the property estate of Google LLC as the actual representation of Google LLC. All this leads to the growth of current liabilities of Google LLC and the inability to satisfy the claims of former employees," the material says.
Talyarovsky drew attention to the fact that the recovery at the expense of the Russian subsidiary company continue, given Google LLC ignoring the requirements of Russian law and the deliberate refusal to block prohibited information, as well as the payment of fines.
At the same time, he specified about the process of work on collection of Google's receivables, at the expense of which it is possible to satisfy the creditors' claims. Talyarovsky noted, among other things, that Google LLC is evading the execution of the court decision to invalidate payments for the payment of about Br10 billion of dividends, withdrawn from "Google" before the bankruptcy.
The author of the statement noted that the company's failure to comply with the requirements of the law and court acts worsens the situation of the Russian subsidiary. It is specified that the ex-employees wrote a review, in which they expressed support for the competitive manager.
On February 17, it became known that the debt to Google to Russian TV channels reached 2.8 duodecillion rubles - the amount with 39 zeros. It was noted that the debt continues to grow.
