Vladimir Putin approved the dates of the "Spasskaya Tower" festival

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the dates of the XVII International Military Music Festival "Spasskaya Tower". The festival will be held from August 22 to 31 on Red Square in Moscow.

In 2025 "Spasskaya Tower" will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the defenders of the Fatherland.

The festival is held under the patronage of the Public Council, which is headed by Alexander Zhukov, Vice-Speaker of the State Duma, with the support of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Moscow City Government represented by the Department of Culture of the capital. The festival is operated by RK-Sport, a sports platform of the Roscongress Foundation.

"Spasskaya Tower" has been held on behalf of the President of Russia since 2007. The festival includes evening performances on Red Square with the participation of musicians from around the world.

In 2024, 17 groups from Russia and 11 from eight foreign countries performed at the Spasskaya Tower: Belarus, Venezuela, Guinea, Egypt, China, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, South Africa and Venezuela.

The festival was attended by Russian sports stars: gymnasts Nikita and Daria Nagornykh, synchronized gymnasts Svetlana Romashina and Alexandra Patskevich, swimmer Evgeny Rylov and other champions.
