In the State Duma proposed to allow gas workers to enter apartments without hindrance

The State Duma will consider a bill, under which gas service employees will have the right by court order to freely enter apartments to check gas equipment. This was reported on February 19 by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing Sergei Kolunov.

According to him, according to the bill, owners and tenants of apartments under the social lease agreement are obliged to provide access to specialists to check the gas equipment.

In this case, in case of denial of access to the gas service specialist, the organization will be able to demand it through the court. This is due to the fact that such a refusal poses a threat to the life and health of all tenants.

"Within 12 days <...> the court will be obliged to issue a decision, on the basis of which gas specialists together with the FSSP (Federal Bailiff Service. - Ed.) - the body that is authorized to enforce court decisions - will return to apartments, but already with the right to get inside unhindered," - quotes Kolunov TASS.

He added that the relevant bill will be considered in the first reading on February 25.

Earlier, on February 18, the Russian government supported a bill that obliges homeowners and tenants of apartments under a social lease agreement to ensure mandatory access of gas workers to in-apartment equipment.
